Change password expiry on Office 365

Office 365 passwords are set to expire every 90 days. The annoyance of this may outweigh the security benefit it brings for some (many?) users. But fear not - it is possible to get rid of the expiry altogether using Windows PowerShell with the Microsoft Online PowerShell module. Here's how:

  1. Connect to Office 365 using PowerShell (see my previous post for how to do this)
  2. At the PowerShell command prompt type:
