Rupert Morrison, Managing Director
Concentra is led by Rupert Morrison. Rupert comes to Concentra from his role as Principal at international management consulting firm A.T. Kearney where he has led consulting engagements for many large private and public sector clients, focusing on cost savings and benefits realisation. To his new role Rupert brings a wealth of experience in operations and supply chain optimisation, economic modeling and large-scale programme management.
In addition to Rupert's ten years of consulting experience he holds a MSc in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and attended the select A.T. Kearney MBA Essentials programme from the University of Michigan.
Ben Scott Knight, Director
With 15 years of consulting and management experience, Ben has a track record of delivering top line growth and operational improvements for world leading businesses. At the management consultants, A.T. Kearney, Ben led engagements with retail, consumer products and telecoms clients. Prior to A.T. Kearney, Ben held management positions in both sales and marketing at Jardine Matheson.
Ben has a MBA from IMD in Lausanne and a MA in Modern Chinese from Edinburgh University.
Paul Graville, Director
Paul left professional services and technology company Ratio One to start Concentra. Paul heads the sales team and is responsible for our customer service methodology. Prior to this, Paul worked for 10 years as a business analyst and project manager at Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, Bank Austria and Andersen Consulting. He continues to be a practising consultant, operating as Client Director to a select number of Concentra clients.
Goetz Boué, Director
Goetz also left professional services and technology company Ratio One to start Concentra. Goetz has responsibility for marketing and Concentra strategy. Goetz´s business background is primarily in the technology sector, having worked for Dialog Corp as online product manager and Systems Union where he held a number of senior management positions including responsibility for Web strategy. Goetz has also been managing director for a language school in Japan.
Tom Brown, Director
Tom has over 11 years experience of project managing, developing and delivery of ERP solutions. Before taking on his current role, Tom worked on projects as Application Consultant, Project Manager and Programme Director for major enterprises such as BSKYB, GlaxoSmithkline, ClearChannel International and Suzuki, with particular focus on financial, distribution and warehousing solutions. Previously Tom worked in South East Asia´s largest logistics company. In his current role, Tom is responsible for managing Concentra´s internal operations. Tom is passionate about the importance of communication to manage client projects effectively.
Chris Micklethwaite, Director
Chris has over 12 years experience as a project and programme manager/director starting at IBM, where he delivered a broad range of complex IT projects including systems integration, software implementation, and e-commerce solutions for clients including from CHEP, CGU Insurance and Mobil. In addition to his extensive experience gained at IBM, Chris has a number of years experience as Director of an IT services company providing hosting and support solutions, six years as MD of a successful and innovative online marketing and travel company, and a number of years in the telecoms industry as a Programme Director managing large-scale COTS software implementations for clients including Orange UK, Singapore Telecom & BSkyB. Chris is passionate about delivering high value solutions to clients through efficiently managed projects, whilst maintaining the utmost levels of customer satisfaction.
Prof. Roger James FRCP, FRCR, Associate Director Healthcare
Roger is currently Deputy Medical Director at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust (MTW) and Medical Director, Kent & Medway Cancer Network. Previously (1999-2007), Roger was Clinical Director of MTW Cancer Services. For the last nine years he delivered three days/week of NHS senior managerial work. From November 2007-April 2008 he 'acted up' into the MTW Medical Director role. These appointments have given Roger a broad experience of NHS work outside cancer.
Nationally, Roger holds an NHS Platinum (A+) award in recognition of his national and local NHS experience. He is a National Modernisation Agency Service Lead for Cancer Chemotherapy, Governance Lead, National Cancer Network Clinical Director's Group and Member, National Cancer Action Team Clinical Advisory Committee. He is a member of the National Steering Committee for the C-PORT Capacity/Demand Project. Roger recently chaired a National Joint Collegiate working party on the commissioning of cancer facilities and is a co-author of a National document 'Governance and Revalidation - A Guide for Clinical Oncologists' (2003, Royal College of Radiologists).
Roger has also spent time in the US, gaining a Berkeley Scholar at the Massachusetts General Hospital and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
He has published over 100 academic papers, is a Medical Doctor who has studied at Medical School, Trinity College, Cambridge plus several other institutions.
